We have a well equipped workshop for wood work. Therefore we can offer you a variety of tools.

Pressing boards
Nine millimetre birch multiplex pressing boards are used to ensure books are correctly squared. The following standard sizes are available:

32 x 22 cm (suitable for A4 page sizes)	EUR 4,40	Order

28 x 18 cm (suitable for a 'standard' size book)	EUR 4,40	Order

However don't let this limit your ideas - if your work requires something a bit different then we are happy to produce you a custom size.

'Lumbeck'-machine

Are you interested in binding your own work? BOEDE can offer you a paperback block 'Lumbeck' machine that allows you to prepare your own book blocks that can be simply glued together using this easy-to-use machine. The machine will accommodate all sizes of paper up to A4.

Press with drill template

If you want to use a slightly more advanced binding method, then why not ask BOEDE to produce you a tool which comprises a press and drill template allowing you to produce sewn page books from collections of loose pages? The method is simple and the end result is durable.

For the one interested in making his own binding in parchment we offer special alignment boards which are equipped with an alu-strip.

Backing boards

While preparing a classical binding one of the important steps building the book block is backing the block. We are happy to offer you backing boards made from beech wood of oak equipped with an iron strip. Our backing boards are suitable to be built into the lying press in such a way, that you can easily withdraw them as necessary.

Other tools like sewing frames, finishing presses, supports for your lying press we are happy to produce for you according to your ideas.
